Why is there a flag in my profile?

I like being American OK, but hey, I don't like having the US flag posted to my profile. I'm not a flag waver.

On another board that I participate on, there is a mandatory flag attaching thing in our profiles, but we can choose a flag. I chose the UN flag in an attempt to identify with my global attitude.

The Earth flag would be nice.

So if we have to have a flag, please let us choose one for ourselves.

I have the Union Jack, presumably on the basis that I live in London. However, my nationality is Australian and I would prefer to have the Australian flag (and yes I KNOW it's got the Union Jack on it). (I like the idea of the UN flag though!).

Again, it's not something I feel really passionate about, but I'd rather have an English (St. George's Cross) flag against my name than the British (Union Flag) one against my name.

I'd much rather have the Tennessee state flag instead of the US flag. But it's not that compelling an issue. And the US flag is okay.
