What great news - so glad the anonomous 'bashers' will have to slurk away elsewhere. Back under a rock maybe.

I've posted anon a couple of threads but now if have a question or issue I'd rather not have my name linked to publicly can just ask one of the many kind fellow travelwriters here via email or through the writer's network.

I just might become active again on the board, provided a-holes keep their nastiness to themselves. I'm all about opinions, but the hate has to go.

Life is to short to be miserable.

Thank you James!

Am I missing something here guys? Why did you think anon postings will no longer be allowed? I hate to be dense, but i just don't get what triggered this thread. i feel like I'm walking in, in the middle of the movie? Has something changed and if so, what made you aware of it?

Totally int he dark,

The info below came in my inbox today via Tuesday Dish email. I´m assuming the anon option will be removed very shortly.

From The Editor

Many members have voiced concern over the Anonymous postings on the Travelwriters.com BBS. So, here is what we are planning on doing. First, we are going to put the BBS behind the login so that writers feel more comfortable with expressing their opinions.

Second, we are going to get rid of the
anonymous postings. If you want to hide behind a 'veil of secrecy'
you should not be posting here.

I would like your opinion on these proposed changes and any other
changes you would like made to the BBS.

Note: Travelwriters.com now has a Page on Facebook.

What does putting the BBS behind the log-in mean? You have to log-in to read or post? I'm with the above posters...good move. It should clean up town considerably.

Amen!
These boards have become rather unpleasant of late, turning me off and obviously many other people too.
Thanks James, and hopefully this board will revert to what it was before---a helpful, civilized discussion.
